Message in ink on verso reads: "This is part of the Royal Palace with over two hundred acres of gardens around. King's income was about ten thousand a year so I guess he didn't mind the coal bills. Lots of fun to watch the revolution just like newyears eve and election all in one but from now on I am afraid we will see real bloodshed. We may have to run.
