A hand-colored lithograph of various House Flags flown on New York clipper ships in the 19th century within a double-tiered, geometric chain border. The flags are organized in a grid of 11 flags across and 6 flags down, for a total of 66 flags. In the 1920s, the image was reprinted and sold by James D. Morgan & Co., No. 3 Broad street, Blank Book Manufacturers and Stationers.
