A port-broadside view of the mail steamship 'Baltic.' She was part of the New York and Liverpool United States Mail Steamers line established by E. K. Collins, Esq. in 1850. She has one large smokestack and two masts. A British ensign flies on her foremast and the US flag flies at her stern.
