Plate 14 from 'American Yachts, Their Clubs and Races' after Frederic Schiller Cozzens. The chromolithograph depicts a view of five yachts at sea in the moonlight. The portfolio of prints was originally accompanied by a book by U.S. Navy Lieutenant James Douglas Jerrold Kelley that described each plate and provided historical context. The publication information that was printed on a small label and pasted on the verso is partially visible on the verso of this print.
