Uncolored page with a star chart showing the figures of the constellations as well as their stars, entitled "View of the Celestial System", with an accompanying essay entitled "Contemplative View of the Heavens." The essay begins on the verso with the line "When the shades of night have spread a veil over the azure plains, the firmament discovers to our view its magnificence. The sparkling gems with which it is sown, are so many Suns, which the ALMIGHTY has suspended in the immense space thereof, to give light and heat to the worlds which roll around them." The essay, which continues below the star chart and presumably onto pages not in our possession, lambasts astrology. The Whale, Cetus, and Andromeda have been marked out on the star chart with pencilled lines and inscriptions.
