Hand-colored engraving depicting a sea scene with three men and a deshabille woman carrying a double-headed axe in a ship. The sail, labeled "Fanatismo", is torn, and the flag on the ship is marked "[?] razza a morte". At left and at right, islands of onlookers watch the scene from the background. Above, a winged male figure holding a shield with coats of arms emblazoned upon it blows on the sail. Whales approach the ship from the water. Text in Italian printed in lower margin.
