Mounted bank note from the Commercial Bank of New Jersey for five dollars. Signed by the cashier and president of the bank. Features a whaling scene at center and a detail of a ship on the left, with a detail of a sailor on the right. The numeral "5" is printed twice in red ink with a watermark pattern. Number of banknote is 7640 (in dark blue ink).
