Hand-colored etching on laid paper depicting the river Schelde, with two men on one side of the river and another man, a noose around his neck, standing atop a whale in the water. The scaffold on which the noose is hung bears a label "naar Utrecht" (near Utrecht), and the noose is labeled "f43000". On the opposite bank, one of the men, in ragged military wear, holds a line connected to the whale, while a donkey eats out of a giant beer-flask labeled "Lambico[?]" beside him. The other man holds up a bucket of bones labeled "de Libertait".
