A brightly hand-colored map of the region of Valencia in Spain. French text on verso on the chapter "Valence" (pp. 228v and 215r). The center scrollwork cartouche contains the title. The cartouche with foilage in the left corner indicates the scale rendered in "Leucae Hispanic" and "Miliaria German." A vessel and sea monster are also present in the seas. Water is uniquely detailed with zig-zag strokes that suggests the movement of waves or currents.
