Hand-colored map of the Duchy of Urbino with two descriptive cartouches and a coat of arms. The cartouche on the right has a dedication to the Duke of Urbino, Francesco Maria II della Rovere (1548-1631). The map is oriented so that the Adriatic Sea is on top. Page taken from an Italian edition of "Theatrum Orbis Terrarum" published c. 1608. Italian text on verso with hand-colored decorated initial.
