Hand-colored map showing the region around Canaan and Paradise, as described by various authors in the Bible. Decorative vignettes on the margins of the map show various scenes from the Old Testament: Adam naming animals (Genesis 2:20), creation of Eve (Genesis 2:21-22), Adam and Eve eating the forbidden fruit (Genesis 3:6), the explusion of Adam and Eve (Genesis 3:24), and Noah's Ark (Genesis 7). Text on verso but covered by mounting.
