Monochrome photograph, or possibly print of a photograph, of an old mill with the windmill blades reduced to skeletons. The photographer was standing in a line with a corner of the building, so two sides are visible; one, as well as most of the foreground, are completely cast in shadow. A body of water, and beyond it another stretch of land, are visible in the background. The color is laid on in small dots, indicating that this may be a print of an older photograph.
