Date made: 1974-1976
Materials: 360° integral stereogram (Multiplex); film
Measurements: 9 1/2 in x 57 in

Three separate sheets of film that when adhered together form one continuous image (each sheet is a 120° hologram). Viewer sees a baseball catcher (Lloyd Cross) in a crouched position and a batter (Selwyn Lissack), both standing on a round platform with a home plate and wearing baseball uniforms; as structure rotates, the position of the 2 players also rotates so that viewer eventually sees the whole scene in 360°; as the structure rotates, the hitter also swings his bat.

Collaborative effort by Selwyn Lissack and Lloyd Cross. Please note that due to the unique challenges of holography as a medium, high-resolution digital images are not available for most items in the holography collection. Please contact us for more information on reproducing images of holograms.
