Hologram adhered to front cover shows a rainbow-colored diffraction grating pattern made up of many small squares; `HOLOGRAPHY' is printed in red letters across the hologram.
Hologram was cover for an exhibition catalog for `Alice in the Light World: Exhibition of Holography Today' exhibition held in 1978 at Isetan Dept. Store in Tokyo, Japan. This 78 page catalog in Japanese with limited English translation; gives explanation and history of holography. Contains brief biographies (in Japanese) and photos of artists and holograms exhibited. Please note that due to the unique challenges of holography as a medium, high-resolution digital images are not available for most items in the holography collection.
