Clear, footed glass jar with lid in form of truncated cone; lid is permanently sealed to glass; dichromated gelatin emulsion is on the inner part of the glass; hologram wraps around the entire glass and shows coins (U.S. and foreign), watch parts, gears, beads, jewelry, and the letter `R,' making it appear as though the glass is filled with these objects; gold tone with a greenish-blue tint, depending on angle of light.
Early holographic application commercially produced for personal adornment. Please note that due to the unique challenges of holography as a medium, high-resolution digital images are not available for most items in the holography collection.
