Multiple-channel (4-channel) hologram; red image of 6 apples; 4 sit more toward background in a 2X2 formation, while other 2 sits closer to foreground, appearing to float above the image plane; when viewer stands to right of hologram, whole apples are shown; as viewer moves to left, bites are taken out of the apples; by time viewer reaches the left side of hologram, 3 bites have been taken out of all 6 apples; hologram is on a glass plate which is adhered to a slightly larger glass plate; the bottom inch of the larger plate overlaps the holographic plate, creating a lip that was used to place the hologram in a pedestal; 2 holes in the lip allowed the glass plate to be better secured in the pedestal.

Please note that due to the unique challenges of holography as a medium, high-resolution digital images are not available for most items in the holography collection. Please contact us for more information on reproducing images of holograms.
