Named collection: Holography Collection
Object type: hologram
Maker: Holex Corporation; Goldberg, Larry
Date made: circa 1977
Materials: white light transmission; film
Measurements: 4 1/2 in x 8 in
Four holograms, each showing the same rainbow-colored head of a daisy; all are on film, and all 4 are adhered to a piece of reflective foil so that they act like reflection holograms; the size of each flower head and the position of the flower in the hologram differs slightly in each; bottom left hologram has major damage, as strips of foil have peeled off the backing and become adhered to the film.
Please note that due to the unique challenges of holography as a medium, high-resolution digital images are not available for most items in the holography collection. Please contact us for more information on reproducing images of holograms.
