Greenish-yellow head of Sun Ra (woman's face surrounded completely by a circle of hair), staring out at the viewer; depending upon which side of the hologram one is viewing, the 3-D effect is strong but with detail loss in the face, or the image is recessed but with a clearer face; head is attached to an ornately-worked, filigree, cone-shaped sculpture.

Please note that due to the unique challenges of holography as a medium, high-resolution digital images are not available for most items in the holography collection. Please contact us for more information on reproducing images of holograms.
