This plate is part of a ganged 4-plate version of the Conjugal Series. The theme of the series is marriage in the wider sense, in which images of hands giving and receiving, nurturing, feeding, dancing, playing can also be interpreted as smothering, wasting, struggling, constraining . Master: CEGB with technical assistance of C. Mead. Transfer: Artist's studio Photo: M. Benyon © Please note that due to the unique challenges of holography as a medium, high-resolution digital images are not available for most items in the holography collection. Please contact us for more information on reproducing images of holograms.
