Description for this object number reads `2 hearts beating in a landscape.' The work sits inside a wooden and plexiglas case; the left portion of the work contains the electrical wiring and lighting; the sculptural part of the work is made of a composite material, painted a purplish color, and resembles a bizarre, wavy landscape in which one heart-like object can be discerned. Electrical cord in back allows work to be plugged in and lit by an internal bulb. Notes in MOH accession file read work is an `integration of sculpture, hologram & electro-acoustic music; has a lifetime--ephemeral; has 6 different lightings.' An empty audio cassette box came with the work labeled `Robert Normandeau, "Musique Holographique II" (1985).'

Unusual mixed-media work; the description in the notes in the MOH accession file refer to this object as a `Holosculpture.' Please note that due to the unique challenges of holography as a medium, high-resolution digital images are not available for most items in the holography collection. Please contact us for more information on reproducing images of holograms.
