Irregularly-shaped greeting card in the shape of a treasure chest, brown and banded in brass; the lid of the chest is `open' to show its contents; an embossed foil hologram is adhered to the card, showing a pile of gold coins, jewelry, cups, etc.; good 3-D effect, almost appearing to be a dichromated gelatin hologram by virtue of its goldish-blue color; card is blank inside; comes with one white envelope; still shrink-wrapped in original packaging.
Early holographic application commercially produced for personal adornment. Please note that due to the unique challenges of holography as a medium, high-resolution digital images are not available for most items in the holography collection.
