Five-sided geometric shape made of 3 triangular pieces of transparent holographic film; each triangular piece is bordered on all sides by thin, narrow pieces of black paper; the film gives off rainbow-colored diffraction gratting patterns when backlit; the largest, middle triangle produces a cloud-like pattern that appears to move and shimmer as viewer moves; the smaller pieces to the right and left produce small sparkly patterns; the transparent pieces of film are set within and sandwiched between 2 pieces of opaque plastic; 5 small screws, one in each corner and one in the center of the work, hold the 2 thick pieces of plastic together; title, date, creator's initials and edition numer (1/2) are written at the bottom of the work.
Please note that due to the unique challenges of holography as a medium, high-resolution digital images are not available for most items in the holography collection. Please contact us for more information on reproducing images of holograms.
