Artwork featuring a hologram, polaroids and drawings; hologram shows a green portrait of creator from chest up; she wears large sunglasses and holds her left hand up and closer to foreground; her hair of her left side sticks up in the air and out toward foreground; below the hologram, adhered to light purple matting, are 2 polaroids that show the making of the hologram; arrows and lines in green marker are drawn on the pictures; left picture shows artist in profile having the hologram of herself taken; written on polaroid under the image is `lines, zwei'; right picture overlaps the left picture and also shows the artist in profile having her hologram taken; in upper right corner is written `Proposeg I.P. Position; written on polaroid under image is `drei, mit Sonnedrille' (?) (writing is difficult to read); to the right of these polaroids is a drawing in pencil and crayon on white paper of 2 glass plates; arrows show how these plates can spin around; written on the paper is `Self quotation based on "Experience of Event" and "Re: (w/h) Flipped over"; (this picture, according to notes in MOH accession files, seemingly shows the hologram production process); written under hologram is `Rebecca Deem, 1986-7, "Flipped Out".'

Please note that due to the unique challenges of holography as a medium, high-resolution digital images are not available for most items in the holography collection. Please contact us for more information on reproducing images of holograms.
