Three separate sheets of film that when adhered together form one continuous image (each sheet is a 120-degree hologram); film is placed in a special rotating structure [see Notes below]; as structure rotates, viewer sees a rotating, 3-D, computer-animated model of a hemoglobin molecule, the atoms of which appears as balls; the molecule's depth and perspective change as the hologram rotates; words at bottom read `Computer Graphics Group, Lawrence Livermore Laboratory'; rainbow-colored image.

Please note that due to the unique challenges of holography as a medium, high-resolution digital images are not available for most items in the holography collection. Please contact us for more information on reproducing images of holograms.
