A scene of the five leading vessels, 'Princess Olga,' 'Eclipse,' 'Secret,' 'Snake,' and 'Ino,' in the Stranger's Purse Match 7 July 1847 rounding the Nore lightship, off the Nore sandbank at the mouth of the Thames Estuary. All the vessels except the 'Eclipse,' which is in the far left, crowd both broadsides of the lightship.
