Lithograph depicting the yacht "America", namesake of the America's Cup, sailing on a choppy sea. She is seen in three-quarters bow view. A dim light is visible emerging from the thick cloudcover above, and a circular light source in the background at left; the latter is perhaps a lighthouse. It is unclear whether it is night or whether there is simply very severe cloudcover. Title and production information printed in lower margin.
