Major collection: Holography
Named collection: Holography Collection
Object type: hologram
Maker: Claudius, Peter; Multiplex Moving Holograms
Date made: 1978
Materials: 120° integral stereogram (Multiplex) (mini); film
Measurements: 7 in x 10 1/4 in
Nomenclature: commercial
Classification: holograms

Nude man and woman engages in a sexual position; when viewer stands to left of hologram, man is on top of woman, the top half of his body bent towards her; as viewer moves toward center, the man lifts his body upright, and moves his hands down her legs; as viewer continues toward right, the man bends toward woman again; image is `jumpy,' in that the movements of the man are not fluid, making the hologram appear like a multiple-exposure hologram (creating an interesting, if unattended, effect); rainbow-colored image.

Please note that due to the unique challenges of holography as a medium, high-resolution digital images are not available for most items in the holography collection. Please contact us for more information on reproducing images of holograms.
