Engraving depicting a map of Greenland, divided by a line representing the Arctic circle. At top left is an island called "James", noted in Dutch as being part of North America. From the book "Bloeijende Opkomst der Aloude en Hedendaag Groenlandsche Visschery" by C. G. Zorgdrager. Mountains, fjords, straits, and inlets marked and labeled. Two sandbars are also marked, and along the west coast of Greenland a number of shoals are marked with "x" markings.
