Monochrome frontispiece from a French-Latin dictionary depicting a dolphin about to save Arion, under the motto Trahitur dulcedine cantus (he is attracted by the sweetness of her song), with mermen in the border of the image. Ink inscriptions over the dolphin's head "Delphin" and two points on the rightmost merman's chest have been circled in the same ink.
