Faded photograph depicting three New Bedford whaling ships at a port, looking out to sea. The foreground, as well as two wharves, are entirely occupied by closely packed barrels laying on their sides. Among the barrels is a sign reading "Vinegar-Bitters". No names on ships visible. No inscriptions.
