Black and white woodcut of the whale spitting Jonah up onto a seashell-strewn beach. In the background is a large ship with sails and a harbor city. On the reverse are the following passages: "Effectue [obscured] Interitum Ninives JONAS visi[obscured] Sub ricino fessus sole calente sedet. Vermis ut ad morsam plantam disperdit & Eurus, Moeret & arenti dira precatur humo." This is followed by a black line and the following test in Gothic typeface: "Frempel wahrer Buk ond Langmuth Gottes. Unter dem Rurbis fuhl / der Gonnen zu entgehen/ Gikt Jonas/ mennt die Gtatt werd furklich untergehen/ Ein trctnen Wind von Oft und Wurm verchafft der HErr/ Daß das Gewachs verdorrt / das verdreusst Jonam sehr." The us followed by a second line and then, "Dés qu'il a denoncé la mort au Ninivite Sous la courge Ionas se retire bien viste Pour attendre la fin de sa prediction: Puis un ver fait mourir & secher son ombrage Dont un chagin despit aigrit tant son courage Qu'il demande la mort par aigre passion--"
