Hand-colored lithograph depicting Jonah, robed and bearded, being spat up by the whale. The whale is depicted with double rows of teeth, and two nostrils, as well as a sinuous sea-monster-like body and a row of fins down its back. There is a ship, and beyond it a coastal city on a hill, in the left-hand background. No inscriptions.
