Maker: unknown
Place made: United Kingdom
Date made: date unknown

Hand-colored map that is most likely one section of a larger map of English counties. The grid coordinate rulers on the left and bottom of map abruptly cut off mid word and there is not definite border to the top and right edges of the map, indicating the possibility for other sections of the map to be joined to those sides. This map depicts the counties of Lancashire, Cheshire, and Darbyshire, and it includes an elaborate sea-themed cartouche with "An Explanation of the Map" and "An Explanation of the Characters."
