A tinted lithograph of the topsail schooner yacht, the 'Xarifa,' belonging to the Earl of Wilton off the shores of Gibraltar. The iconic landmark, the Rock of Gibraltar, looms in the distance. Her anchor hangs from her port side and a small cloud of smoke at her broadside, perhaps indicating that a gun was just fired. In the right foreground, three men are in a small, carved rowboat heading toward the 'Xarifa.'
