This silent black-and-white film shows a series of high-speed photography demonstrations assembled for a National Geographic Society lecture that Harold Edgerton delivered in 1965. Subjects include studio takes of moving fan blades, a cat drinking milk, tennis and golf actions, a football being kicked, hovering hummingbirds, an orange peel spray, swimming copepods, light-bulbs breaking, and milk-drops. These images are associated with the MGM film "Quicker `n a Wink". Run time = 00:10:57. (CC)
