Clear rectangular glass plate sealed between 2 round plexiglas disks, sealed around the circumference with copper tape; 3 small screws and bolts also hold the pieces together; small piece of fishing wire tied through 2 small holes at top allow the piece to be hung; a star made from 16 long overlapping triangles, with a clear hole at the center, appears on the rectangular glass plate; rainbow-colored diffraction grating patterns within the triangles caused the star to change colors when light source is moved; the star is centered within a larger but weaker snowflake-shaped pattern that also contains a diffraction grating; creator's name and date appear at bottom.
