Exhibition catalog for show `Holography,' held by the Seibu Department Store Art Museum (Tokyo, Japan) circa 1985; contains mostly black-and-white photos of the holograms in the exhibtion, and a brief discussion of holography and its history (in Japanese); adhered to cover is a rainbow-colored, holographic foil sticker showing 3 repeating formations in which a circle is superimposed over a triangle; the largest of the 3 is positioned at the bottom of the hologram in the foreground; the other 2 get progressively small as they recede into the background; waves appear at the bottom, and clouds, stars and striations appear throughout.
Please note that due to the unique challenges of holography as a medium, high-resolution digital images are not available for most items in the holography collection. Please contact us for more information on reproducing images of holograms.
