360-degree single shot hologram on a long strip of film, showing a small white china horse standing on a circle of light; film rests inside a hard plexiglas cylinder to which is attached a 7" rod; according to notes in MOH files, hologram and structure can rotate by attaching the rod to a pedestal containing a motor, or by hanging it a motor mount attached to a ceiling; hologram is difficult to view by placing it in the structure and viewing it with laser; by holding the film straight and holding it up to laser light, one can see the horse move and do a full 360-degree rotation as one moves the film.
Please note that due to the unique challenges of holography as a medium, high-resolution digital images are not available for most items in the holography collection. Please contact us for more information on reproducing images of holograms.
