May 1985 (Vol. IV, No. 5) issue of Lasers & Applications magazine; `Embossed rainbow hologram [on cover] made by Holo-Spectra reveals a 3-D, actual-size image of the first laser, built 25 years ago in May 1960. Ted Maiman lent his original ruby laser to L&A for the holography session. Article on page 44 describes how the hologram was made.' (taken from page 2 of magazine)
