Hundreds of Polos (British Life-Savers-like candy) lying in a pile; in the center is a bare spot with just one Polo candy in the center; a clear plastic sign bearing the words `the Solo Polo' is at the bottom; reddish-yellow color.
The use of a single spread beam onto flat objects enabled holographers to apply a weak laser on a relatively large 10" x 8" sheet. The single spread laser beam principle was first demonstrated by Yuri Denisyuk. Please note that due to the unique challenges of holography as a medium, high-resolution digital images are not available for most items in the holography collection. Please contact us for more information on reproducing images of holograms.
