A starboard-broadside view of the paddle steamship 'Africa.' As a Royal Mail packet, she made regular voyages from Liverpool to Halifax to Boston as part of the Cunard line. She flies a British Red Ensign on her stern and an American flag on her foremast. The same image, but uncolored is printed on the verso.
