EG&G type 2521, serial no. 4. Developed by K. Germeshausen and built by EG&G. In working condition when received. Part of a complete set of 4. A complete set would include 4 beacons, two on each side of the runway. According to Bill MacRoberts this system was not widely used, however he remembers its use on Martha's Vineyard and at Woods Hole for ferries docking in the fog.
