Mann, Robert Wellesley

Pioneer in the development of biomedical devices to aid persons with disabilities including the Boston Elbow ("Arm"); advocate for engineering design education (instigator of MIT's famous 2.007 course); elected to the National Academies of Engineering and Science and the Institute of Medicine; president of MIT Alumni Association; president of the Class of 1950 for 50 years.
