Two small burnt rocks (earth and fire) are mounted with glass holograms which show underwater elements (water) when lit by the sun in the open air (air). Inscribed in each corner of the hologram are the words HOT, WET, COLD, DRY. These words point to the proto-science years when earth, air fire and water were the elements.
