`This is a Chiropractic / Medical holographic anatomical illustration of the spinal column. The model used for this hologram is of anatomical exactness and precisely detailed, demonstrating the natural curves and the intricate structures of the spine. The spine, or backbone, supports and houses the spinal cord and its nerve branches. The spine also allows one to move around freely. This particular image contains a portion of the base of the skull, the 24 movable vertebrae and the sacrum (base of the spine). The spinal column is a magnificent mechanical structure and is another fine example of nature's infinite wisdom at work. It is truly a work of art.' (from small display panel found in MOH files); natural color; medical hologram.

Please note that due to the unique challenges of holography as a medium, high-resolution digital images are not available for most items in the holography collection. Please contact us for more information on reproducing images of holograms.
