Kismet is a robot specifically designed to be sociable -- to communicate with and learn from people. Kismet is controlled by 15 different computers, with 21 motors working together to create facial expressions and body postures. Four cameras in the eyes, between the eyes, and in the nose make up Kismet's vision, and the robot hears with three microphones."
